The owners, Mario and Anita, were great. She cooks and he serves (along with his son and daughter). Our ten-year-old proclaimed that "customer service is their number one goal" and it showed. The place is up near the top of the mountain and it is quite an adventure getting there. Once there, this is a place to relax. There are only about ten rooms/suites making it a perfect place to unwind. Anita has dinner ready each evening at eight and it is really very good. You must be open to whatever she is cooking (we happily cleaned plate after plate). That said, they were extremely accomodating with our picky son. Breakfast is the normal Ialian breakfast and lunch is not served. We stayed in Suite #1 which is part of the main house. The room is large, well decorated and comfortable. An added bonus is the WiFi availability. This is not the place to go if you are looking for nightlife or the beach, although you could certainly drive down or get a taxi if you needed to (we had a car). Getting there was relatively easy. Take the ferry to the port and Mario will be there to show you the way if he knows you are coming. They are in the process of adding more amenities to the hotel which will only improve on an already great place. When we come back to Italy, we will make reservations with Mario and Anita.

My only complaint is that they do not serve lunch. If they did, we may have moved in.

The hotel- argiturismo is wonderful is a magical location .the owers are kind, lovelt,ly, cooperative and helpful.it located in a beautiful place in the mountains , close to a beautiful beach, and a lot of othercplaces to see in a wonderful island if youre planning to travel to ISchia that is the place to be in.Tje hosting family is great.dont be afrarid from the narrow road, dont come with a big car.

location & the whole concept: unbeliveble !!

The view was fabulous. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. We got lift everywhere we wanted to go. Dinner, lunch and snack was available and was very good. We recommend this place to everybody.

It's beautiful, and makes you feel like you're in your own hideaway.

Since it is secluded, you will need either a car or vespa to get in and out of town, though Mario will pick you up from town at times.
